Rape Crisis Cape Town Trust (“Rape Crisis,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides counselling, advocacy, training, and community services to support survivors of sexual violence. These Terms of Service describe how you may interact with us through our websites, online forms, WhatsApp messages, and other digital channels.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By contacting us, completing a survey, or using any of our digital communication channels, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not continue using our digital platforms.

3. Confidentiality and Safety

We treat all information you share with strict confidentiality and care.
However, where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or where required by South African law, we may disclose limited information to ensure your safety or comply with legal obligations.

4. Your Data and Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to provide services, counselling, or feedback.
All data is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and our Privacy Policy.

5. Communication via WhatsApp and Online Surveys

By messaging us via WhatsApp or completing an online form, you consent to us communicating with you on those channels for service-related purposes.
We do not use WhatsApp for marketing or unrelated communication.

6. Limitation of Liability

We make every effort to provide secure, high-quality services. However, Rape Crisis cannot be held responsible for interruptions, data loss, or third-party platform issues (such as WhatsApp outages).

7. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your data at any time. For more details, see our Data Deletion Policy.

8. Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal obligations. The latest version will always be available on our website.
